He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Nowell and Beatrice Blaylock Nowell. He is survived by: his wife Karron "Mickie" Nowell; his children, Denise Hider (Bobby) of Slocomb, AL, Teresa Walker (Clay) and Douglas "Doug" Nowell (Christina); his grandchildren, Makayla McCallister (Derrick), Danielle Whitehead (Randy), Jennifer Connor (Jeffrey) and Caylum Walker; and his sisters, Blonnie Barber of Ruskin, FL and Jean Rau of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
