She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James O. Owens and Hattie D. Owens; her former husband John Emory Thompson; her husband Chester D. Rodgers of Malone; her children, Emory Ann Faulk (Joel) of Newton, AL, Debbie Miller (Lee) of Graceville, Tommy Thompson of Greenwood, Wanda Morton (David) of Waycross, GA and Sherri Vickers (Joe) of Abbeville, AL.; her grandchildren, Amy Argo (Aaron), April Faulk Parker, Lindsey Williams (Patrick), Leeanna Miller, Glen Thompson (Christina), Geriann Milton (Matt) and Marina Thrift; and her great grandchildren, Shelby Argo, Emma-Kate Barton (Jonathon), DJ Argo, Rilynn Applewhite, Mattox Milton and Ella Catherine Williams.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) in honor of her healthy children and grandchildren.
