It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy James Baxter of Greenwood, Florida, born in Biloxi, Mississippi, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris (Stella Jacobs) and Amy; her sisters, Charlotte, Michelle and Pamela; her daughter-in-law Robyn Shaffer Baxter; and her granddaughters, Alysha and Arhea Baxter.
She is survived by: her husband James Earl Baxter; her children, Rachael Ellis (Marc), Jennifer Cazier (Roy), Travis Baxter, Robert Baxter (April) and Rebecca Spencer; her siblings, Barbara, Lynn, Sidney, Clifford, Walter and James; and her grandsons, Noah Baxter, Jacob Spencer, Nathan Cazier, Joseph Cazier, Aaron Ellis and Michael Ellis. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren with numerous honorary grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
