He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwyndoline Tully Earp and Judge Curtis D. Earp of Greenville, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Barhite of Thomasville, GA; his children, Adam Earp of Atlanta, GA and Emily McPherson (Shane) of Tallahassee, FL; his stepson Jason Oaksford of Ochlocknee, GA; his granddaughters, Anna Rose McPherson and Isabel McPherson; and his stepgrandchildren, Lillian Oaksford and Robert Duncan.

Donations can be made in his memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
