He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Elswick and Mildred Charlene Elswick; and his mother-in-law Janie Craven. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Craven; his daughter Sherrie Hall (Ricky); his grandchildren, Garrett Carlisle and Kristen Carlisle; his siblings, Kenny Elswick, Jimmy Elswick (Sylvia) and Jackie Elswick; and his brothers-in-law, Alvin Jolley (Linda) and David Mills (Cathy Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
