She is survived by: her husband John Penton II; her daughter Jessica (Joseph); her granddaughter Sophia of Apex, NC; her daughters, Rebecca and Mackenzie; her great grandchild Samuel; her adoptive daughter Alexis Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; her parents, Larry Broyles and Rita Shelton Broyles of Wise, VA; her grandmother Joyce Broyles; her stepgrandfather Bill Hartman of Greeneville; her brother Chuck; her sister-in-law Sunshine Broyles; her nieces and nephews, Holdyn Broyles and Lily Broyles of Greeneville; her uncle Tommy Broyles; her aunt Katrena Broyles of Greeneville; and her friend Sandy Southerland of Greeneville.
