It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Edenfield Sutherland of Green Cove Springs, Florida, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Melburn L. Carter, Sr.; and her daughter Shannon Smyth. She is survived by: her mother Mary Edenfield Carter; her friend Shalon; her husband John Sutherland; her daughter Jessica Batton (David); her siblings, Melburn "Billy" Carter, Jr. (Amy) and Robin Husted (Randy); and her grandchildren, Mackenzi Batton, Cameron Smyth, Laila Batton, Jonathan Smyth, Macy Smyth and Emery Batton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
