He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Francis Boyle and Catherine Purcell Boyle (Purcell); and his sister Loretta Basto. He is survived by: his children, Mark Smith, Evelyn, Amy McClain (Jody), Thomas Boyle (Amy), Kevin Boyle (Stacey), Katherine Olide (Veronica), Luke Messmer (CayCee), Gabrielle Perea, Lauren Perea and Kaitlin Boyle; his siblings, Denis Boyle, Jeffrey Boyle (Kelly) and Susan Pignatello; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Basto, Russ Pignatello and Kelly Boyle. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and one great granddaughter on the way as well as many nieces and nephews.
