Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John William Oliverio of Green Cove Springs, Florida, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 83, on June 3, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Samuel and Bessie Agnes; and his brothers, Frank and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Thresa Ferris Oliverio; his daughters, Terry (Steve) and Kathy (Gary); his grandchildren, Lance (Bailey), Mackenzie and Megan Newman; and his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Kossuth and Roselie Price (Paul). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and first cousins.

“I write this in memory of "Jay" Oliverio who recently passed at the age of 83. I was a classmate of his at Monticello Elementary School - where his dear mother "Bessie" was in charge of school lunches. My three bothers all attended that elementary school and we always thought our school lunches were the best in the city. We were classmates all through high school at Washington Irving High School.
