She was predeceased by: her birth mother Bertha Mae Perry (Surber); her adoptive parents, James R. Brinson and Dorothea J. Brinson (Surber); and her great grandchild Della R. Smith. She is survived by: her husband Bennett L. O'Steen, Sr.; her brother James Brinson (Jani); and her children, Angela Goodermote, Charles Miller (Danielle), Carol Lovely (Stan), Bennett O'Steen, Jr. (Mary Beth) and Rhonda Berry. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (7190 Hwy 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003).
