With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert L. Westgate of Green Cove Springs, Florida, who passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gilbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gilbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Westgate and Eleanor Westgate; and his siblings, Cathy and Jimmy. He is survived by: his siblings, Eddie Westgate (Diane), Scott Westgate (Tammy) and Millie Fish (Carlton); and his grandchildren, Peighton, Aodhan, Shayla, Amelia, Gage and Ava.
