She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Mays; her parents, Henry Sparks and Ida Sparks; and her siblings, Faye Sergent, Minnie-Ann Tatum, Ruth Ratliff, Belva-Jean Vanover, Vagle Lester, Belle Reynolds and Estil Sparks.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Mays (Susan), Steve Mays, Joe Mays (Rita), Gary Mays (Mary) and Paul Mays (Tiffany); her brother Hershel Sparks (Hannah-Sue); her grandchildren, Brittany Mays, Corey Mays, Josh Mays, Chase Miller, Ciara Miller, Cheyenne Miller and Ella Alger; and her great grandchildren, Landon Mays, Riley Mays and Kayron Mays.
