She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Johns and Geneva Johns (Silcox); her husband Roger D. Ellis; her siblings, Sharon Berry and Everett Johns; and her son Steve Layman.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Perry, Jan Knapp, Deanna Pelletier, Denise O'Connor, Dan Ellis and Rebecca Bueme; and her grandchildren, Monique Boalch Honay Layman, Alicia Dawn, Jason Miller, Goldie Henry, Randall, Perry, Michelle Medford, Cody Knapp, Jennifer David, Heather O'Connor, Dylan Ellis, Danielle Petty and Jessica Iqou. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and numerous extended family and friends.
