He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thacker and Marilyn Thacker; and his sister Helen Edmunds (Rick) of Smith Station, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Thacker (Sherry); his children, Jonathan Thacker (Elisa), Tina Haring (Miguel), Shawn Hardin, Jessica Ridenour, Edward Hardin and Brian Amerson; and his siblings, Paul Thacker (Rhonda), Walter Thacker, Jimmy Thacker (Debbie), Wanda Cantrell (Roy) and Nancy Aslan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
