She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard Best and Audrey Poulin Best; her former husband Gerald Simmons; and her sister Kay Goodman. She is survived by: her husband Mike Jay; her children, Gerald Simmons (Taylor) and Cindy Oakley (Bobby); her stepchildren, Michael Jay, Ericka Jay, Chrissy Heffner (Rick) and Sabrina Hartsell (Mike); her sister Lee Best; her friend Brenda Wright; her grandchildren, Clayton, Kalee, Cameron, Landon, Cayson, Carter and Regan; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Karmen and Clover. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
