He was predeceased by: his mother Annalee Tipton (Johnson); his stepfather Bill J. Tipton; his father Clyde R. McReynolds, Sr.; and his sister Virginia Osborne. He is survived by: his wife Carol McReynolds (McGee); and his sisters, Lorraine Susan Litton and Rachel Hooven. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broadus-Raines Chapel (501 Spring St, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
