He was predeceased by: his mother Alma Baker Rodgers; his uncles, Clarence "Bud" Lloyd Baker and William "Bubblegum" Baker; his son JohnLloyd T. Stafford; and his friend Eddie Barrow.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gassen Stafford; his uncle John "Turtle" Baker; his sisters, Tina Hepner (Sam) and Alma Dexter (Fred); and his children, Adam Joseph Stafford, Ann "Anniebelle" Burkes and Keith Metoyer. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
