He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harrist and Helen Harrist; his former wife Nancy Floyd; his brother Ronald; and his grandson Mathew.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Tim, Chuck (Melissa) and Ellen (Rob); his grandchildren, Charles IV, Christian, Victoria, Lucy and Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Jake, Brooks and Audrey.
