We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024, at the age of 85, Barbara Jean (Bj) Weltzbarker of Green Cove Springs, Florida, born in Moultrie, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara Jean. Though Barbara Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn H Weltzbarker; and her sons, Glenn H Weltzbarker Jr. and Perry Joel Weltzbarker. She is survived by: her children, Glenda Fuller, Vicki Stokes (Dwayne), Mike Weltzbarker (Terri) and Woody Weltzbarker (Dawn); and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Weltzbarker (Rikki), Betty Stembridge and Shirley McCleaf (Ron). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Broadus-Raines Chapel (501 Spring St, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Penney Farms Cemetery.
