She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Swanlund and Ida May Swanlund (Routt); her husband Eugene Medelberg; and her siblings, Herbert "Swanee" Swanlund, Carl Nyman and Doris Pearson.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Medelberg of Hawaii and Becky Lee (Ron) of Greenbay, WI; her grandsons, Ron and Robert Lee; her sisters, Marilyn Hensel (late Art) and Janice Anderson (late Dick); and her sister-in-law Lorraine Swanlund. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
