He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jackson Carson Sr. and Vivian Louise Ward Carson; his wife Mary Carson; and his siblings, Kenneth Ray Carson, Jimmie Lee Carson, Nellie Elizabeth Dorsey and Gladys Faye Wright.
He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Ann Cooper and Nancy Louise Anderson of Anderson Springs; and his goddaughter Erica Burke (Jock) of Marianna, Florida.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
