She was predeceased by: her husband Willard B. Durden; her sons, Carlton Durden and Wayne Durden; her granddaughter Christy D. Cook; her great grandchild Cheyenne Tyus; her parents, James Brazzell and Mary E. Brazzell; and her brothers, James, Charles, Eugene and William Brazzell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Durden of Grand Ridge, FL, Wanda S. Durden of Grand Ridge, FL, Jeanette D. Cook (Chester) of Grand Ridge, FL, Royce W. Durden (Marion) of Grand Ridge, FL and Joyce Durden Snellgrove of Marianna, FL; her sisters, Shirley Jackson and Mary Harrison (Grover); and her grandchildren, Chester Cook of Grand Ridge, Christopher D. Cook of Grand Ridge, Joseph A. Cook of Grand Ridge, Toby G. Shaw (Michelle) of Marianna, Bobbie S. Snellgrove, Earl T. Snellgrove of Marianna and Marilyn Locaban of Louisiana. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nellies Residence (7313 Birchwood Rd, Grand Ridge, FL 32442). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Shady Grove Cemetery (7320 Birchwood Rd, Grand Ridge, FL 32442).
