It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Boatman of Grand Ridge, Florida, born in Marianna, Florida, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, F. L. Taylor and Lucy Hart Taylor; her husband C. W. Boatman; and her siblings, Eddie Franklin Taylor, Louise McKenzie, Geraldine Watson and Willie Jean Rabon.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Taylor (Frankie) of Grand Ridge, Leah Knight (Michael) of Altha, Cristi Blank (Charles) of Altha, Jacqueline Hilton of Panama City, Kenneth Boatman of Grand Ridge, Wesley Boatman of Conroe, TX and Virgil Franklin Boatman of Montgomery, TX.; and her sisters, Judy Ann Higginbotham (Louis) and Laura Eulene Kent. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
