He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vance Morgan and Omega Wanell Richards; his aunt Venita; his cousin Jean; his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Vesey; and his significant other Dottie Morgan.

He is survived by: his children, Cecil Morgan of Azle, Jay Edvabsky (Judy) of Marianna, FL, Connie Bennett of Weatherford, TX, Charlotte Edvabsky of Sneads, FL and Patty Padgett (Kenny) of Azle, TX; and his brothers, Donald Ray (Linda) of Grandberry, TX and Jerry Richard (Opal) of Woodstown, NJ.
