He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Hamilton and Rossie Carpenter Hamilton; his siblings, Loretta Poole, Edna Banks and Ottis Hamilton; and his stepson John T. Laramore.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Laramore Hamilton; his children, Kenneth Hamilton (Stephanie Ross) of Marianna, Patricia J. Couey (Virgil) of Marianna and Brenda Hamilton of Grand Ridge; and his grandchildren, Kaci Laramore and Ethan Lowery.
