It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Owens of Grand Ridge, Florida, born in Wausau, Florida, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Owens and Neatie Finch Owens. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his sons, Dennis Owens (Melissa) of Grand Ridge and Darvin Owens (Lisa) of Grand Ridge; his brothers, Ray Pettis of Lubbock, TX, T. D. Pettis (Edna) of Wausau, FL, N. B. Pettis of Wausau, FL and A. D. Pettis of Wausau, FL; and his grandchildren, Tyrell Owens, Victoria Griffith, Savannah Owens, Kelsey Dyke and Keely Grice. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
