He was predeceased by: his wife Julie Scott; his parents, Charles W. Melnik and Betty Jane Ralph Melnik; his son Charles William Melnik II; and his siblings, Robert George Melnik and Carol Lanza.
He is survived by: his former wife Judy Jones; his daughter Dawn Renee Melnik; his stepdaughter Marie Barnes (Ricky); his grandchildren, Caleb Coleman, Noel Russell (Dee) and Ally Turner (Siera); his great grandchildren, Phoebe, Austin, Keigan, Dakota, Ian, Daijon and Daenerys; his brother Keith Melnik (Kim); and his nephew Michael Melnik (Janet). He is also survived by other numerous extended family members and friends.
