It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Winfield Pope of Grand Island, Florida, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Harry Kenneth Pope; his brother Matthew Pope; and his brothers-in-law, Jorge Caceres and John Wiley. He is survived by: his mother Mildred "Patsy" Pope Schetrompf (Durst) of Forest, VA; his wife Chantelle Gorrell Pope; his children, Jennifer Yoder (Christopher) of Grantsville, MD, Thomas Pope (Samantha) of Umatilla, FL and Elizabeth Lynch (Christopher) of Tavares, FL; his grandchildren, Ryan, Peyton, Kaitlyn Yoder, Traighten, Hawke, Hunter Pope, Isabelle and Henry Lynch; his sisters, Connie Caceres of Hyndman, PA, Brenda Brode of Myrtle Beach, SC and Patricia Wiley of Corgansville, MD; and his stepbrothers, Phillip Schetrompf of Moneta, VA and Mark Schetrompf of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
