With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Eugene Nesmith of Grand Island, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Nesmith of Grand Island, FL; his daughters, Karen Nawmiec and Christine Nesmith; his stepson Ricky Gene Whitaker; and his sister Carol Walk. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering in care of Grand Island Baptist Church.
