He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Berg and Lydia Berg; his wife Beverly Berg; and his siblings, Alfred Berg and Alida Bush.
He is survived by: his friend Lily; his close friend Lavina Messal; his children, Michael Berg, Kathy Mueller and Sharon Crain; and his sister Adeline Anderson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
