Tommy Gene Harkrider Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Gene Harkrider Jr. (Graceville, Florida), who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Tommy Gene Harkrider of Malone; his stepfather T. Lane Harris of Malone; and his grandmothers, Spurgeon Clark of Graceville and O. M. Harkrider of Graceville. He is survived by: his mother Ella Mae Harris (Harkrider); his brother Max Harkrider (Amanda); his nephews, Max and Hoke Harkrider; his close friend Michelle Hendrix; and also Jared. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He played a vital role in the coordination of the Jackson County Health Department's Hurricane Michael efforts as well as the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to the community.
