He was predeceased by: his parents, A. L. Hendrix and Bessie Hilson Hendrix; his wife Martha "Jo" Hendrix; his daughter Pam Sims; and his brother William H. Hendrix.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Wilson (Huie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson (Kym), Jodi Faircloth (Byron), Christopher Rodriguez and Jacob Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Kolton, Tucker, Tate, Ainslee and Paislee; his niece Rhonda Parrot; and his nephew Greg Hendrix.
