He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew "M. C." Colley Carnley and Annie Leonia Holland Carnley; his wife Iris Singletary Carnley; his sons, David Carnley and Greg Carnley; and his siblings, O. V., Festus of Ray, R. J., Edward, Ann and Roxie Mae.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Carnley (Paula) of Bonifay, FL and Victor Carnley of Lorain, OH; and his sister Odell Oliver of Dothan, AL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
