She was predeceased by: her parents, James Omer (Wells) and Lizzie Pearl Watford Wells; her husband Bill McGowan; her son Tony McGowan; and her siblings, Inez Galloway, Lynette Crutchfield, Martha Register, Jeanette Berry, Frances Kirkland, Alfred Wells, Malcom Wells and Billy Wells.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa McGowan, Donna Goodman of Phenix City, AL and John McGowan of Esto, FL; her grandchildren, Jeremy McGowan (Samantha) of Phenix City, AL, Caleb Goodman (Becca) of Phenix City, AL, Jordan Goodman of Phenix City, AL, Josiah Goodman of Phenix City, AL and Libby Goodman of Phenix City, AL; and her great grandchild Cade McGowan of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
