She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Sims and Margaret "Margie" Spelman Sims. She is survived by: her husband Rick Melendez; her children, Greg Arnold (Terre), Kevin Arnold (Georgia), Derrick Arnold (Amy), Clyde Melendez, Anita Melendez, Timothy Melendez and Michael Melendez; her grandchildren, Chase Arnold (Dara), Andrea Jackson (Trent), Wiley Beauchamp (Meghan), Jon Beauchamp, Brantley Arnold and Emma Arnold; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Arnold, Fenton Beauchamp, Annabella Beauchamp and Bristol Beauchamp; and her siblings, Dianna Garcia (Danny), David Sims, Steve Sims (Donna) and Charles Sims (Twila). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
