She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Culbreth and Mae Beckworth Culbreth; her daughter Belinda Sue Fowler; her brothers, Ira, Arie and Buford; her half-sisters, Cora and Myrtle; and her son-in-law Gerald Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Doyle Shiver; her children, Gale Johnson, Billy Fowler (Becky) and Joyce Taylor (Billy); her stepchildren, Edwin Shiver and Debra Garnett; her grandchildren, Dana, Terri, Tracey, Kim, Brandon, Justin, Corey, Brian, Sam and Zach; and her caregiver Jean Fowler. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to New Home Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
