He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Nickson and Mamie Nickson; his wife Dorothy Russ Nickson; his grandsons, Juforest Hicks, Clevon Parrish, Sr. and Darrell Johnson, Jr.; and his siblings, Shirley Brown, Dorothy Helen Woodrow and Clinton Nickson.
He is survived by: his children, Lorraine Russ, Zandra, Jamie, Jasmine Nickson, Tamara Watson (Deldreian), LaQuanda Davis (Willie, Jr.), Adriane Cure, Antoinette Ferguson, Veron Nickson, Travis Nealy and Kenneth Perry; his grandchildren, Clinique Parrish, Darien Harris, Keira, Kaylee Pope, Carl, Travarious Scott, Ashley Elliott, Willie III, Davieion, D'Honei, Mya, Layah Davis, Asia, Nisha, Niya Nealy, Joshawn, Tyrece Hicks, Destini Ferguson, Shaquenya and Takema Russ; his siblings, Emmitt Nickson (Tannis), Voncile, Annie, Clementina Nickson, Mertice Dawson, Linda Hill (Gene), Donald Nickson (Jacqueline) and Gary Rolack; and his close friends, Rudeen Bess, Donna Cure and Richard Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
