He is survived by: his former wife Betty Ann Toole; his wife Betty Howell; his sisters, Gail Ratley and Mary Stomber; and his children, Donna Carter, Jennifer Howell, Wendy Flournoy, Bridgett Cone and Brent Howell. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a wealth of extended family.
