He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cree and Betty Cree; his stepmother Effie; and his grandson Tommy Cockriel. He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Martin (Marge); his wife Marge Cree; his daughters, Tena Cockriel (Tom) and Stacey Cree; his grandchildren, Jackie, Nick Cockriel, Evan and Ben Vasilko; and his siblings, Nancy Elliott and Peter Cree. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Cornerstone Hospice.
