She is survived by: her husband Allen Wayne Akers; her children, Myra Denise Hayes (Akers) and Michele Lorraine Payton (Akers); her grandchildren, Mark, Adam, Amanda, Emily, Erin, Royce, Audrey, Andrew and Katie; her siblings, Peggy Plaster and Danny Horton; her daughters-in-law, Donna Akers and Christine Akers; her sons, David Allen Akers and Gregory Wayne Akers; and her great grandchild Lincoln. She is also survived by MANY great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734).
