He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kalegi and Irene Kalegi (Serefin); and his uncle Carl Serefin. He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Kalegi (Howe); his children, Ed Kalegi (Diane) and MaryAnn (Brian); his grandchildren, Emily, Brian Mazellan and Eddie Kalegi; and his sister Annette Scerbo (Tony).
