She was predeceased by: her children, Donald Wood, Teresa Miller, Nancy Frye and Terrence Wood (Teddy). She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jo Ann Wood-Voss; and her granddaughters, Celena Frazier (James), Elizabeth Pritchard (Mike), Cari Wood and Justina Mobley (Brandy).

In Lieu of flowers, Dottie would've liked donations be made in her memory to St. Jude's: St. Jude or the church she attended, Orlando Baptist Church: Orlando Baptist.
