He is survived by: his wife Karen Lynne Easterling; his children, Cynthia Ruth Compher (Kevin Compher), Cathleen Rose Walters (Karl Walters), Carson Richard Easterling (Gail Easterling) and Charles Randall Easterling (Tina Trebes); his stepchildren, Christopher David Owens (Blairlee Owens), Kathryn Ann Owens and John David Owens (Alejandra Owens); his grandchildren, Kenneth, Zachary, Christopher, Michael, Sara, Carson, Colt, Brandon, Ally, Kathryn, Grace, Jacob, Paul and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jackson, Camden, Logan and Jacob.
He was a contributing member of numerous organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, the American Legion, the World War II Museum, and the Fleet Reserve Club of Annapolis.
