He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Dell (Elgin) and Russell Austin Teel; his wife Patricia Ann Teel; and his daughters, Vonnie Lynn Teel and Robin Kristen Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara Delin Teel of Oveida, Florida; his grandchildren, James Hughes and Thomas Sherman; his siblings, Joel Teel (Alice) of Gaston, Jeanie Teel Prosch (David) of Glen St, April Dell Teel of Glen St and Tammy Etta Teel of Gaston; and his close friend Dennis Pettway of Pensacola, Florida.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
