She was predeceased by: her father Owen; her siblings, Martha Staier, Mattie Norman and Owen Combs, Jr. (Buddy); and her son-in-law Larry Griffis.
She is survived by: her children, Combs, Sr. (Ruby Davis Combs), Freida Griffis, Donna Richardson (Eugene) and Wallace Tarte (Tonya); her grandchildren, Jason Griffis, Bryan Richardson (Melissa), Angela Rhoden (Brad), Caban Tarte and Meara-Lynn Carter (Drew); her great grandchildren, Titus Richardson, Karis Richardson, Miley Shay Rhoden, Jade Richardson, Max Rhoden, Wade Carter and Drake Carter; her sister Norma Jean Howard; and her sister-in-law Eileen Callaway. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
