He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger Sluder and Lillian Dunford Sluder; his wife Jacqueline Sluder; his son Lawton Melroy; and his siblings, Earl, Ralph, Bobby Sluder and Kathleen Mathis.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Sluder, Jr., Carl Sluder (Debbie), David Sluder, Doyle Kurlin (Sherry) of Jacksonville, FL, James Melroy (Shannon) of Folkston, GA, Alice Beck and Shirley Henderson (Bobby Griffis) of Lake Butler, FL; and his siblings, Jimmy Sluder (Anne), Gary Sluder (Melba) of Fort Myers, FL, Lorraine Bradley of Fort Myers, FL and Shelby Edge (Wally) of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the church or to Haven Hospice.
