He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Griffis and Nellie Griffis; and his siblings, Allen Griffis, Juanita Conner, Loretta Conner, Frank Griffis, Wayne Griffis and Ernie Mae Griffis.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Crews Griffis; his children, Eddie Griffis (Tonda) and Teresa Yarborough (Glenn); his grandchildren, Jordan Griffis, Dustin Williams, Lacey Ruis (Brent), Rile Yarborough (Jessee), Joel Griffis (Abby) and Matti Lee (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Jayci, Luke, Paisley, Jake, Hampton, Staiton, Lincoln, Chance, Dalis, Hope Carolina, Heidi and Austin; his great great grandchild Astella; and his siblings, Harold Griffis (Angie) and Bonnie Varnes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Raiford Road Church (9201 FL-121, Macclenny, FL 32063). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
