He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Combs (Conner); his children, Vicki R. Combs, Karen D. Higginbotham and Edward R. Combs Jr. (Danyle); and his sister Vera Dean Stewart (Billy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
