She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Dow Pursley and Rose Ethel Hatcher Pursley; her husband Aaron Hicks; and her sons, Thomas Carl Hicks and Douglas Hicks.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Lynn Hicks of Wartrace, TN and Aaron Donavon Hicks (Christine) of Glen St; and her grandchildren, Troy Hicks (Tonya), Amber Hicks, Heather Branch (James) and Holly Knight (Danny). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
The family has requested in lieu of sending flowers that donations be made to Community Hospice 5450 Ramona Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
