He was predeceased by: his wife Tobey. He is survived by: his son Keith (Tina Maley) of Gibsonton, FL; his brother Dr. Frank Maley of Albany, NY; his grandchildren, Heather (Adam), Brandi and Steffan; and his great grandchild Avi Hope.

“I started the sport of judo with Ed Maley alongside with Keith Maley at Interbay Community Center. One year later I was encouraged to train at his original Florida of School of Judo on MacDill. I started at 11 years old, and I am now 54. I was him for about 4 years. I had to quite due to a member my family getting ill. Later on, I did other martial arts with different instructors. Yet, I have never met a better teacher and coach than Mr, Maley, as I referred to him. Mike Foglia”
